Siri Lindley Public Speaking

It’s Not About You. Siri Lindley’s One Big Secret to Great Public Speaking.📢🎉

People often tell me they’re terrified of public speaking. Their heart races. Their hands shake. Their mind goes blank.🙄 I understand that fear. When I was four years old, I was mute. Speaking felt impossible. Years later, I found myself standing on stages in front of thousands around the world. What changed? It wasn’t confidence. It was purpose.⭐️

People often tell me they’re terrified of public speaking.
Their heart races.
Their hands shake.
Their mind goes blank.🙄

I understand that fear.
When I was four years old, I was mute. Speaking felt impossible.

Years later, I found myself standing on stages in front of thousands around the world.
What changed?
It wasn’t confidence.
It was purpose.⭐️

As I grew older, I became passionate about giving a voice to those who didn’t have one—especially the horses we rescue at Believe Ranch & Rescue. Then I realized I also had a story.

Not because it was extraordinary, but because it might help someone else through the challenges they were facing.

When we make public speaking about ourselves, it’s terrifying.

Will they like me?
Will I forget my words?
What if I fail?
What if they judge me?

Those questions create pressure.
Pressure creates anxiety.
And anxiety keeps us from showing up at our best.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned came from Richard Newman. Before every important talk, meeting, or presentation, ask yourself:

  • What do I need them to know?
  • What do I want them to feel?
  • What do I want them to do?

Those three questions shift your focus from yourself to serving others.

Then came the lesson that changed my life forever.

Tony Robbins was about to introduce me for my first keynote at Leadership Academy.
Nearly 2,000 people filled the room.
Backstage, I was shaking.
Then I remembered something Tony says often:

“It’s not about you. It’s about the gift you have to offer.”

Everything changed.

The pressure disappeared.
I no longer had to prove anything.
I simply had to serve.

Public speaking isn’t about delivering a perfect presentation.
It’s about making a meaningful contribution.

Whether you’re speaking to one person, your team, a classroom, your community, or thousands from a stage, ask yourself:

How can I be a gift today?

Your story matters.
Your lessons matter.
Your voice matters.

I believe we all have a responsibility to share our gifts with the world.

Don’t wait until you feel fearless.

Speak because someone needs what only you can offer.👏

Speak from your heart.❤️
Speak with love.❤️
Speak to serve.🙌

Because it was never about you.

It was always about the life you might change.🙌❤️
